2020 Antelope Permit Drawing Question

Does anyone know when Montana FWP draws antelope permits?

Why does it take so long to draw antelope permits.

It's been the first week of August (Monday the past few years I believe) for a while now. They do their fly overs and population counts in mid to late July. However, they have been very good at releasing results early so far on everything this year so maybe the last week of July you will see them up.

it’s a pain in the azz trying to plan every year with this draw lingering out there. Almost hoping I don’t draw at this point so I can move forward with a bird hunting trip.
