2020 AK Adventures

I haven't posted much this year, and was going through some pictures and realized we we got out quite a bit this year... This is probably 1/4 of what we did this year... Lots more fishing and a few other hunting trips in there.

Fishing on a local lake (going again this weekend)

Doing a little shedding

Killing time after work with my fishing partner

More fishing after work

Copper River reds we came home with 60, not a bad mornings work.

Fishing in the Gulf

Amazing day on the water, even if the fishing was a bit slow.

More fishing after work, my littlest resting her eyes after a long afternoon of fishing

Sheep hunting was rough this year. Lots of fog and lots and lots of rain. More rain this year than the last 4 combined. In 10 days I think we had 3 days with no rain.

Awesome average year.

As always, enjoy your escapades.
Kinda come to expect your annual successes. Obviously the big game is the main focus but I appreciate the extra fishing pics. I don't bother bonking trout in Montana but the idea of stocking the freezer with salmon is pretty dang cool.
Still speculate if I could handle the overload of spring/summer/fall insane fun only to enter the dark months.

Looks like a pretty fun year. Even with the rain I'm surprised there's no ram, you've been a pretty consistent ram killer since I've been on here.

Tough hunt... I missed a really nice ram.

Miss calculated for angle and shot over his back. I got a shot at redemption a week later, and just as I got into position where I could see/shoo, fog rolled in and vis went to about 50 yards. It was sketchy as hell hiking out of the clouds and cliffs. It did ruin my streak... I figured it was a matter of time before I didn't punch a tag, but it gives me something to dream about and hope the ram lived another year.

The caribou was taken by a friend... I had a proxy tag for the late season.
