So I'm finally going to go bowhunting for elk this year. Ive researched and read everything I could on elk (planning on purchasing the elk101 university of elk soon)for the past 3 years dreaming of going west for elk. I'm finally going to make it happen. My plan is to put in for WY general tag. I have only 1 point but I'm guessing I still have a small chance in the random drawing from what I understand? If I dont draw the general tag, it will be OTC colorado, mainly because i can be there quicker than idaho. Will be going solo. Plan on camping at my truck and already have a decent pack, onx maps.
