2011 MT Whitetail

I was fortunate enough to get another Labor Day Weekend hunt in with a great friend of mine. Thanks again Matt.

We were running a little late due to some work commitments on Monday, so we were unable to get a tree stand in this particular area and ended up on the ground without a blind. I do admit that I had a lot of luck on my side and feel very grateful for the opportunity at harvesting such a respectable buck.

That is a great buck man...My brother took an opening weekend whitetail too on the Gallitan...went 150 and change...your is a beaut too! Congrats! Some great deer so far this year.

This buck actually had velvet two days before this. Most of the bucks still had velvet but it seemed the velvet made them smarter
