Had a chance to look them over. Looks like they cut out a lot of doe and cow tags in the units I normally hunt and surrounding areas. May be that we are on the right track for better management.

In looking at page 27 regarding elk management objectives for some of the areas we hunt show above and I am kind of worried about some of them, given the migration patterns due to wolf depredation. I think they are erring on the side of caution where hunters are concerned. Given IDFG only has so much time and resources to spend in the field.
