2011 Gadwall

Got my 2011 Gadwall back a couple weeks ago. It found a home in my office. I've always been a fan of plain looking birds. I couldn't get the colors to come through with my cheapo camera and the poor lighting.

I really like that mount. Ive shot a few of those and never thought to mount one. That looks great!!

That's a good looking duck mount and last time I checked, a guy can't have too much taxidermy.

Thanks guys, Eugene Streekstra of WildFowl Unlimited (Florence, MT) did the work for me. He strictly does only bird mounts. You can't really see in the pics but he is attached to a Red Oak barn plank with a piece of driftwood.

He has a wood duck drake of mine that we're still trying to find a good pose for. I can't make up my mind.

I have kilt enuff Gray ducks to know this is a good one with great plummage and an excellent taxidermy job.
