Yep, I have used them all season, they work great. Hauled out an elk last week using te meat shelf on the metcalf and it lifted the weight up very well. Definitely worth getting them.

Come on, paperwork? I don't think it is much to ask to record the results of the hunting/guiding that hunter and guide recorded in a few days. Seems petty to me in the grand scheme of things. It's not like they are requiring a book here are we?
Good post, great way of addressing each group and their alterior motives. I find it very scary the way that SFW has convinced so many folks that they are a great organization and are working toward a solution to declining game herds. I wonder how many people don't bother checking backgrounds...

The number one factor that people forget when dealing with western forest ecosystems is that they are not static, or do NOT stay the same. If we could only convince the general public that "change" or disturbance is not a bad thing then it would be a lot easier to get things done in the forest...
