I prefer this version. Cleaner vocals from Patty in her prime. Probably the best version I’ve heard, and there’s quite a few.

For hallelujah, I think JBJ doesn’t have the right voice for it. Bigger fan of this one from Brandi Carlile.

Not a cover but I just love this archive duet video. I first heard Nanci Griffith on Prairie Home Companion in the mid 1980's. Amazing talent and much missed.
