I went ahead and got two antelope tags for north of the river in 700 thinking you guys were exaggerating about the state of the antelope herd. Well, crud. Turns out you weren’t. Hysham to Miles to Jordan and back opening weekend in the truck. And 18 boot miles in between yielded 16 antelope in accessible ground.

If only there were a website with a message board where folks could share information and keep me from forging ahead with bad plans.

We broke the darn U-joint in my dad’s truck. Slid all over in the mud in 2WD. Got nice and wet. I’m licking wounds now.

Anyone else ever hunt the PV Ranch BMA? Is it true that it stands for “Pronghorn Vacant”???

Know a guy that dumped his truck in the ditch on the way to an elk hunt. Busted out the drivers side windows. Tipped back over, checked fluids and with plastic on the windows kept going. Not sure I'm that dedicated. mtmuley

I haven’t been out there in over a couple of decades, but that’s insane. I remember seeing them by the hundreds.
