You test for CWD?

Interested in hearing how many hunters get their elk tested for CWD? It looks like the total numbers tested each year in Colorado has been going down which could skew the results for how prevalent it is. If I am fortunate enough to tag out, I think I will get it tested. However, I am interested in what the other folks think.

I had some deer tested that we're killed in the CWD area, back when testing was free. I also had some tested when they were asking hunters statewide to have animals tested, to determine the prevalence in the state. I don't do it for myself, though.

Mudranger, that would be a great strategy, if only you could tell they were sick by looking at them.
