Yellowstone Spinoff Marshals

I think they chose a poor character (Jamie) to build Marshalls around. He wasn't exactly all that entertaining in Yellowstone and a lot of that drama between him and his wife sucked the fun out of some Yellowstone episodes. The real Jewel characters in Yellowstone IMO were; Beth, Loyd, Rip, Costner, Sheridan, Jimmy, Tater & Walker.

Yes , he is a bit of a downer. The son , Tate is picking up the slack where the whiner wife left off. I don’t see it being hit for me.

I'll admit the show is becoming a bit generic. I still enjoy it for filler TV. It seems to move faster than it needs to but I'll keep watching. There's a good part of me that's starting to enjoy it simply because so many of you don't😁😉

Like all things Sheridan, glossing over the background and reference check and mental health screening, and start work the very next week. But I won't dwell on details or facts getting in the way of a good story.

Gotta drink a double if there is a reference to Ruby Ridge or Waco in future episodes. Credit to Sheridan if he has a Claude Dallas or Ed Cantrell reference. Extra Credit if he references Rooster Cogburn and the Hangin' Judge Parker.

I think if this was to truly emulate multi generational ranch families in the West going into law enforcement, it would be the county sheriff, or deputy role for Kaycee. All of Montana is one district and it is doubtful that there would be an entire SOG force Hq'ed in an abandoned mine rather than the district court in Billings, but I'm just guessing.

It's an escape and don't let the facts get in the way of a good time.
