Wyoming Jerky Seller Sentenced For Poaching, Selling Game Meat

Around Natrona, poaching is pretty wholesome compared to some other "activities" that happen out there.

Glad they got him.

Boy, they hammered his arse hard. He's out of business forever with all his equipment gone. Doubt he'll ever be able to make full restitution of that hefty fine so maybe his hunting days are gone for good too. I hope some of the local yokle elected judges in Montana read this story and learn something from it.

Poaching for commercial purposes should see the fines jacked through the roof.

It would not shock me a bit if this guy also rustled some percentage of the beef that ended up in his jerky.

You keep referring to these other activities and weirdos. What are you talking about?

It's a spot where there's precious little to do but meth and work on oil rigs or run some cows. It's always been a rough area of the state, though. That stretch between Casper & Shoshoni is some of the lonliest country out there. It's where Dale Wayne Eaton buried the L'il Miss car for a couple of decades before the cops found it, and then, they only found it because Eaton popped on a DNA test. He had buried that gal's car, and had turned it into a septic tank.
