Wyoming Elk Unit 121 Cow Tag

Well myself and a couple of buddies have decided to try for a leftover cow tag in Wyoming Unit 121. Looking for some meat for the freezer. Does anyone have any advice on this particular unit. I will be calling the game warden to get his take on it. Would appreciate any advice. Thanks.

Be ready to hike and hike some more. If there isn't too much snow - hit the road going up to the NW of Logan Mtn. There is a big patchwork of private and public. If you can find a deal - try to have horses ready to help you pack out. Great unit - but there are wolves and Mr. Griz.
