Have the NR tag allotments gone up significantly?

In a lot of places they cut back this year, due to winter-kill. The units by me in Lander cut quite a few. But in general, I think they have more or less stayed the same and WGFD will bump them back up after a herd comes back from a bad winter.

You can either decrease allotments or make tags valid on private or public only. The private/public split has been working well for whitetail doe tags in Wisconsin.

My brother in law has been hunting this unit the last 3 years and he has taken 2 real nice bucks.

They do this today, in a couple ways, some "private only" tags, plus dates change for things like rifle on public v private land.
