WTF, life bites here we go again

If you are fired for cause in California, you cannot get unemployment. It all depends upon how the employer responds to your claim. I just denied it for a woman we fired for cutting escrow checks to her fiance'. She filed for unemployment, stating on her application that "I made a mistake on a check and was fired." I responded with the facts and she gets no unemployment. It all depends on the reason you were fired. If you are laid off or your job is eliminated, you get unemployment. Each state is different. There is also a 7-day waiting period here - you get no $$$ for the first 7 days of unemplyment. That is why I tell everyone who get laid off to apply right away - the 7 days starts from when you apply!

If I don't find someting soon, we wont have "my parents" house to live in because they are interested in nothing but the money they get from us. So when that stops, so does being here.

Some "illegal" advice......
Forget the last job Bandit had. It is over and done. Don't waste time claiming he was wrongly fired or there are others that are sleeping. Don't call his old boss a "little witch". It is over. It is done. Don't go try and hire a lawyer. Don't do anything other than get Bandit out the door every morning with a clean shave, a clean shirt, and new pen and don't let him back in at night unless he has applied at 8 businesses each day. His "8 hour day" should now be spent filling out applications. It is not a big stretch that he can fill out one per hour, so make him do 8 per day. And if you need help, ask his mom to not let him back in the house....

I have disagree. Most illegals work in jobs Americans do not want. I guess I am from Missouri: you are going to have to Show Me the stats that say illegals are taking 60% of all newly created jobs.
