I got a new toy, and nothing to feed it. Didn't think this one through... a 308 should be a dime a dozen right? I haven't bought reloading supplies in about 5-6 months. Holy crap, the well has dried up! Starting to look like it was 6-7 years ago. I think I'm set on most all other supplies, but will be shopping tomorrow to stock up for this coming year.

Anyone have some spare 308 brass they'd be willing to part with?

Thanks

Brass, like everything else has gotten ridiculous. In case you can't find any, here are a few links. RT

Sheer hoarder madness out there. Academy has their ammo behind the watch and sunglass counter. Sparse selection, one box per buyer, no exceptions.

Check any gun clubs if any near you for once fired range brass. Many sell it cheap. If no luck, pm me and i can check here for you

I know this isn't necessarily what you want to hear but you could track down some 7mm-08 brass and just run it through a Full Length Die. It looks like Grafs has some PRVI 7mm-08 in stock. That's what I shoot in my 7mm-08 and it is pretty good with the exception the primer pocket is a little small.

Otherwise you could watch Gunbroker and hope to pounce on some once fired stuff if it ever comes up.

Thanks for the ideas. I planned on running by the gun club this weekend, but doubt I'll have much luck. I live in the tinfoil hat capitol of the US. Sportsmans was robbed a few weeks back, they only took 223 ammo, as it came off the truck.

I also thought about going with 7-08 or 338 federal brass, but I'm having trouble finding it as well. Worst case, I have to sacrifice some 260 brass I have on hand.

I've found some on GB, and may have to go that route... but holy crap they want a small fortune for it.

I figured someone here had a few boxes of once fired brass lying around and wanted to get rid of it. Someone has to have a few boxes of Federal brass collecting dust. :D

I have some once fired 7mm-08 and .308. Not sure on how much. I will look this weekend and let you know.

Looked through some stuff, I have 11 once fired 308 federal brass that I picked up at the range a while back...all yours if you want them.

I picked up 14 or 16 rounds at the range last Saturday. Watched the guy take em out of the box and fire them. Hornady Match stuff. I'd send em. mtmuley

I honestly don't know what a good deal is on .308 brass but I seem to keep seeing this ad on BP and its right down the road from me. Could pick it up and send if you think it's a deal.
