Would you???

This kind of reminds me of a co-worker (several years ago). He moved here to Montana and stated that he would only shoot a bull elk that was in the 350 class. The rest of us (coworkers) looked at one another and said, "if its brown, its down". We all knew that getting a bull elk (or cow elk for that matter) is a real blessing and you don't pass up opportunity. Years later, after I moved onto a new job in another city . . . . I ran into him. He had passed on a nice 5 X 5 the couple of years earlier and his new attitude was, "if its brown, its down". He stated he would never pass on a bull elk, again.

If you have a few nice trophy bulls under your belt, you might consider passing on that one . . . . but not this guy. I wouldn't think twice, and I would certainly not feel guilty. A bull on the ground is worth more than that tag in your pocket at the end of the season.

I would and without hesitation…well maybe a bit of hesitation but, just enough to get the bull lined up in my scope.
