Only 8 months and 2 days to go before elk season opens for me.

Elkhunter, are you putting in for Any draws ? Or are you hunting the Same areas again ?

Just getting my usual General tag for Wyoming. The only special draw I am putting in for is Buffalo. I am going to be hunting basicly in the same place, just a little to the east. I want to try this big meadow, that MEATHEAD and me came across last year, on opening morning. I think it is like 2 1/2 hor ride in. I will get up there this summer and learn a little about the country. It is always nice to see and learn new country. Here are some pics of the meadow we were in.

When is the deadline for the sheep permit/pref point?

This is the first year since 91 that I have not put in for moose and the first year since 1999 that I have not put in for sheep. I did put in for the pref. points though.

8 months and 1 day left till elk season.
