If wolves move into your deer hunting area, should you find a new hunting area?

Deer will avoid wolves, like run when they see them. But they won't go far.
Wolved definitely eat deer, but they don't seem to thrive on them like they do elk. I rarely hunt deer that aren't in areas with wolves.
Did you end up killing a buck Draht?

Going to disagree just a little on this one..........We hunt some of the same ground. And I have seen a much greater toll on our whitetail from the wolves than the elk. I remember spring bear hunting one evening in West Mont. and walking an old logging road. In one evening, over 20 different deer carcasses along that road with wolf tracks and crap all over the place. They obviously kill elk no question there but the amount of deer now compared to 10-15 years ago, not even close.
Maybe farther west, they like the deer better![]()
