Wolf derangement syndrome has gone terminal

Not to far off of the possibilities for American Prairie.
What do you mean by this? Please expand how Federal taking of land is "not to far off" from what American Prairie is doing. At face value your statement doesn't make sense..ie) childish gibberish.

His is the same old tired argument people like to shout from the rooftops but then retreat to the basement when asked to defend their stance.

Paraphrasing and merging his points but basically… “use eminent domain so wolves can live in peace and happiness.”

The title of this thread is on point.

I’m surprised he didn’t start quoting the 14th Amendment in support of the notion that everyone respect the wolves’ “privacy”. Missed a real opportunity there to establish constitutional rights for all animals. Maybe next time.

I think yall are missing the real danger with this commentary and it has nothing to do with APR. It is much bigger than just wolves. This is reflective of the current state of affairs for wildlife management in Colorado. A very small, extreme group of professional anti-hunting, anti-agriculture activists are gaining control and seeking further more extreme measures. Just the other week they called for the elimination of bighorn sheep harvest.

The speaker, Glenn Parton, is from a NGO “The Rewilding Institute”. But before you cast his comments aside as just the views of one individual from some extreme environmental org, I would point out that the Rewilding Institute has significant political influence in Colorado. Current Director of the State Land Board, Nicole Rosmarino, was a longtime board member at The Rewilding Institute. Current CPW Commissioners, Chairman Rich Reading, Jay Tutchton, Dr. John Emerick, and likely many others are all closely linked to the Rewilding Institute. Polis’ admin has had one single goal with the CPW Commission, shift the makeup of the commission toward Rewilding and coexistence, while diminishing any conservation or consumptive use, ie hunting and agriculture.

Back in 1993 I was saying if they re-establish wolves in Ft Marcy Park and Central Park, folks would not be so deranged about them.

That'll come. I heard a woman very earnestly and loudly explain how disliking wolves is a form of racism. She wasn't kidding, either. They are out there, and they vote.
