I'm extremely proud of my wife. She started hunting with me when we were dating and I believe she is hooked. She has been gaining confidence in herself over the last year or so, and has been hunting some on her own. I had to work late today and the grandparents offered to watch the boys if she wanted to go hunting. I told her what blind to get into and she did the rest solo. 20 lbs, 10.75 inch beard, 1.25 inch spurs. Good ole mature bird

Congrats! Nothing like the first one by yourself. This is the smallest deer that made it to hanging on our wall but is the one we are most proud of because it is the first one my wife shot while I was at work. It is a great moment for her and for the guy, it means we can start hunting instead of full time teaching
