Thanks for all of the advice and input so far! We have talked to a ton of ppl and agencies and have decided adoption.com is where we will start and get our feet wet. I have a adopted brother who's the same age as me, he was a great addition to our family. I actually knew him beforehand, his parents were immigrants from El Salvador. His mom was a flake/druggie who took her youngest daughter and left the family, and his dad was injured in a work accident and unable to care for his son. My parents offered to become legal guardians and he joined our family when we were in 3rd grade. My only issue in the whole situation was that we had to share a truck when we got our drivers licenses in high school!
