In North Central Missouri we have had some cool weather which has made daylight activity very visible. The bucks have been moving checking does. Some chasing going on, but the does are not interested at all. Soon the does will start to lay up because they don't want to be harassed by the bucks. Think this is starting to happen because yesterday evening I saw 6 bucks and only 4 does in a location where we regularly have 20-30 does come out to feed in the crops.
