Shouldn’t both sides focus on what America wants? If we just stick to pertinent topics of this forum we should all find ourselves in a conundrum. Roadless rule and public lands; 90 some percent of people who respond say they are in favor of both yet our politicians split right down the party aisle. Firearms, most of us have or want to own a suppressor or an AR style rifle, yet our politicians are split right down party lines. Water quality and habitat improvements; split down the middle again.

Furthermore, why is an issue like water quality and habitat improvements a partisan issue? Sure we can argue about how to improve them but all people should want clean lakes and rivers and habitat for critters whether we can hunt them or not. Just because you don’t agree with how someone wants to improve those doesn’t mean that you take your baseball and go home.

Politicians don’t work for Americans as a whole, their constituents, they work for whoever is lining their pockets.

Getting reelected most people agree that term limits would be good and no life long benefits would be good. But our politicians cram shit down our throats but make themselves exempt from those policies.
