WHEN WILL IT END???????? I'll be so glad for 11/04

I know HT is a just a slice of America, but I can't tell if I should equate the cynicism with outrage or apathy.

I don't know which word captures the situation.

I predict it's about fund raising, sound bites, and EOs and administrative rulings for the next two years. Realistically, politicians can't do much besides that. Certainly, pardons can happen after the next election if wanted before he leaves office.

It's unclear if the uniparty wants anything else to happen or not. We'll see.

I'd call it apathy and even more so simple intellectual laziness. False equivalence is a very seductive and insidious when comes to discussing things such as impeachment. Instead of looking at each offense on the merits and upholding the rule of law, its easier to just throw one's hands up and say its all the same. "But what about..."

I will post what I said to a Dem yesterday. Don't impeach Trump. He is your best salesman. But go after those in the shadows who will demand the pardons, and make sure everyone sees it.

They might be right about the majority. I know HT is a just a slice of America, but I can't tell if I should equate the cynicism with outrage or apathy.
Futility foments all three...

Futility foments all three...
Certainly a legitimate feeling. Oddly, it doesn't stop most of this crowd from going over the next ridge or down the next coulee, or walking 2 miles to get the wind direction in their favor. But write and send an email to a congressional rep? Just too hard. Would rather bitch about what might happen 2 years from now. Futility is often the excuse for laziness for most voters. That's how we got here, with the crazies dominating the conversation on both sides. People need to be more involved in civics and they will get a better idea of why stuff gets done the way it does.
