When does your season start

Our youth season is the 22nd and 23rd of April and are all day hunts(1/2 hour before sunrise to sunset)

The regular season starts the 24th of April and you must end the hunt at noon.

When does you start and do you have all day? Plus what species are you going after?



ps...I do not give a rat's behind about the $20 > I just love turkey hunting and like to know what the rest do.

Oscar, I would love to be chasing bears also. But all I have is the wild turkey and they will do.

Apr 26 in IN. Last year, or the year before, was when they changed it to an all day hunt. This past fall they started a season here but didn't go. I'll be taking an Eastern gobbler if everything goes as planned because that's the only species we have. We're only allowed 1 bearded or male turkey in the spring and in the fall it's either a hen or a tom. I think it will change to 2 toms sometime in the near future. The turkey pop. has really boomed here in the last 10 years or so. And, I guess they've already started the pecking order rituals. Seen some birds struting a couple days ago. Seems kind of early but the weather's been kind of warm here for winter.

Starts 4/15 here in NM, and We can hunt all day. I hope to call in a bird for my 12 year old son again this year as well as call in a bird for my other new hunting partner.

April 15th for turkey in Washington. Will be hitting the bears closer to the first of May in Idaho, hopefully should be tagged out on my two gobblers by then! Can't wait for either. Been shooting the bow like a mad man and the wife is starting to think I'm nuts again!

The Ontario opener is April 25th, and I'll be hunting the first five days up there...

April 28th for my daughter and hunting partner. I have to wait until May 1st because I have my final skills testing going on the saturday of the opening weekend. Luckily I have a partner that I trust and loves hunting with my kids, and they love hunting with him. Not many people you would let take your 17 year old daughter out hunting for a weekend. Come that monday after my tests I will packed up and heading off for several-few days. And Brian will be back with my duaghter so he'll be coming along too.
