I did soccer, baseball, basketball, track, and cross country. By High School I cut it down to just baseball. My junior year I led the region in hit batters and senior year I led the region in stolen bases. If I could just go back…

Kicked off LL team, then played for Jackie Robinsons Y/Boys Club Team, he took me to the boxing ring.
Jr HS defensive end.
HS Jr Varsity state champions, linebacker...smallest guy on the team.
HS gymnastics, HB,Horse, Rope climb...might still hold school record .

I started out football, basketball and baseball. It evolved into basketball and track in middle school which evolved into basketball and golf in high school. I tried to play football in high school freshman year but the doctor and mom said they were going to kill me at my tall, skinny size. Neither would sign my waiver form. Basketball coach was the golf coach and recruited me.

Basketball and baseball growing up, moved to XC, Basketball and Track in high school which led to Track in college. Triathlon after college, then a little dabble into ultra marathon trail runs then settled on mainly Gravel bike riding.

I guess im still growing up, at least feels that way when I have a buddy call me up to ask if I want to go ride bikes. lol

High school football. All North Division I offensive guard Jr. and Sr. year. Only football… too much work to do on the farm.

Played soccer, got fat, then played football. Got lean, strong and faster. Discovered beer in college, got fat and slow again. No records, state championships, or athletic achievements of note. My weenie is short, my elk are small, and I’m good with it 😜

Played little league baseball 9 through 12. When I was 13 and trying to decide if I wanted to continue my dad said, "if you don't play, we could spend the summer going to mountain lakes." I was done with sports forever with no regrets. I to this day rarely watch any sport on tv.

Soccer, then tball and baseball, wrestling, and then starting in 4th grade football until senior year most of that time as a defensive tackle always first string. Two state championship rings (freshman and senior year) in 5A not worth the boogerd up knee. My dad was big into sports and I played mainly due to pressure/bribery from him. Went to a real varsity blues type high school scum bag coaches, players who couldn't read yet passed every class, and only second string got drug tested. Kinda soured me on it don't even watch football anymore.

soccer and basketball (pre hs)-> Basketball and track (HS) -> Track (College)

played select soccer in portlandia in ms but burned out. Nutured a love of bball that didn't love me back (barely made all league my senior year). Managed to win State in the 400m and break all the school records for the 100m, 200m, 400m, 4x100, 4x400, but my 400m time was beaten the very next year by a kid that never ran again... go figure. Finished 2nd at Indoor Nationals my senior year in college in the most obscure track event ever... the Distance Medley Relay. And while I finished on the all-time Top 10 list, I looked a few years ago, and I've been surpassed in everything but that relay.

I now mostly stay in shape so that I can pretend to keep up with @cne-elk in the hills for one week a year.

Currently restoring a 1 owner, number matching 62SS Impala I bought from an old muscle/hot rod guy that knew how to hide his tricks/know-how. Just a 327 but......
Nice. My Grandfather had a 1964 Impala. My Father actually bought it new. Red on red. Just a 283 Powerglide car. Was supposed to get it but family rears it's ugly head. A 1959 Impala and a 1954 Bel Aire disappeared also. mtmuley
