I’ve just hunted and fished since I was a boy.
Played a lot of racquetball in college.

Yeah, well I can only remember a fraction of antics, so I can't fully sink my ship. Not sure why you think disclosing any of that would be a good idea. Mine wouldn’t be!
Find a teacher who is willing to help sponsor or become an instructor yourself. Pursue grants/donations to get the funding. Your state game agency probably has an archery in the schools coordinator, reach out to them. The lack of archery in the school is something that really disappoints me in my local school system for my son. He’s only 4; maybe I can figure out a way to get that changed before he’s in jr high/high school
This. After I graduated one of my teachers who was big into it got a program started. Unfortunately it only lasted like 2 years and he retired and nobody else took over. But I think you can definitely do it. If im not mistaken genesis archery (mathews) puts out some funding for programs for archery in schools.Find a teacher who is willing to help sponsor or become an instructor yourself. Same. I wish my kids had the same opportunity, I literally hunted and fished probably 330 plus days a year and all of it was simply walking out the back door to do both. Richest kid in the world and I didnt even know it.I may have been small and skinny in high school, but I was also slow and weak. So, I fished and hunted every day I possibly could.
Track and cross country. The only sports you don’t play!
