I love mule deer hunting, but mt. goats are a blast if you could draw tags consistantly.

Turkeys are classified as big game in South Dakota, but as upland game in Montana.

My favorite is Antelope.. Probably requires more stealth than any of the other game. Not as much cover as deer or elk, and eyes that can spot a fly on a cows butt at 800 yards....

My handle says it all!!

If I could hunt bighorn or thinhorn sheep every year I would do it. Of course being able to draw a tag helps. Or if I could win the lottery.....

After that I would have to say elk.

Dan everyone told me it was hard to get close to them Pronghorn , but not for this southern boy, got mine at 18yds with .284 win.

Mine would have to be Whitetails.

I like hunting antelope best of all for these reasons:

weather is usually (not always) in high 60s
always observe dozens of animals
enjoy the vast open prairies with occaisional flat topped buttes
always get one or two depending on zone
enjoy hunting with our aging Remington pump in .243; sort of like an old friend
enjoy antelope sausage very much
