Ben Franklin would end each day by asking himself “What good did I do today?”

So if you choose, share a win or a small good deed you did for the day.

I’ll get ahead of some people and throw this out. We know the purpose of doing good deeds is not to go brag about it after. Most people do these deeds because it’s deeply embedded in their values. Or they were once in a tough spot and now have an opportunity to give. Giving can come in lots of forms: money, time, advise, coaching; etc

My ask is to consider sharing them in here to help inspire someone else to do something or two see how easy it is.

That being said, share your story if you like on what you did today.

I’ll start:

Listening to a couple order lunch today it sounded like things were tight, so when I paid my bill I paid theirs too.
My gut was saying to do it and I always listen.

You'll never cheat yourself by paying forward...sound investment. Kind words, benefit of doubts, general generosity...realized dividends.

I changed my granddaughter's poopy diaper.

I deserve a medal.
If they're handing out medals for that this is what I'd look like. sacha-baron-cohen-the-dictator-2012-2JJGW0X.jpg

Timely post I'm currently picking up lunch for myself and a patient. I do this every Friday I'm in the office. Grab lunch deliver it to their house and if they're inclined I eat with them and just hangout for about a hour. I work in home health/hospice and so many of the people are going through a hard time little gestures can mean a lot.

I worked and fixed issues with coworker....yeah, I still work, I know...I know...I need to stop this nonsense...time for a beer...

I generally do favors, as they present themselves. It might be holding a door, being pleasant with service employees, tipping generously. I have paid the tab at restaurants for a family at a nearby table a few times.

If it is feasible, I have packed elk meat off a mountain with my horses, for hunters. A few years ago, a young man had packed a mule deer buck, three quarters and the head on his back, a shoulder in his hands. He had killed it about five miles from the end of the road, in a different drainage, than where he started from. He wasn't lost, but did not know exactly, how far he had left to go to his truck. He had about two more miles of trail to go. We put the meat in the back of my pick up, and had to drive about five miles each way to get to his truck. He earned every pound of venison on that buck.
