What brand of gun solvent and oil?

At 61 years old, Hoppes #9 gives me a headache from hell and almost puts me on my knees.
Guess i am a poster child for piss-poor ventilation.

I use wipe out at least half the time. I believe more barrels are damaged from improper cleaning than anything. A good bore guide, cleaning rod, jag, and nylon brushes a key. I went down a worm hole years ago with custom rifles and had some barrels changed out a few factory rifles.

I used lot of different cleaner's and oil over the years. If one oil actually works better than another, it's news to me. Pretty much the same with bore cleaner's. Love the smell of Hoppe's!

It’s gonna be hard to beat the smell of Hoppes #9 but there may be a better one out there as far as getting the job done.
