What are you guys paying for gas?

Maybe the announced new refinery will be more flexible about what variations they make.

Refineries make products to specifications set by governmental regulations. So any new refinery will be operating with the same requirements.

You would think Hawaii would be higher.
The bullshit continues. Hawaii gets its fuel from the exact same refineries that the majority of N. CA gets it's fuel. Supposedly Hawaii gets 2-3 tanker ships of fuel per week. They ship it to Hawaii cheaper than they deliver it to depot's maybe 100 miles away?

Shit! CA makes stuff up as they go. It all depends on who bribes who and how much the payoff is. The next thing will be putting red dye in the untaxed water supply. They actually tried to put meters on private residential wells.
Yea we should be able to use as much water as we want to from a limited aquifer. Pretty soon they'll be wanting to take water from other states... Oh wait.....

I can't speak to other domestic wells outside our area. I'll guess a 25+30 mile radius. Our wells produce 1 gpm to 6-7 gpm. There are a few 10+ gpm wells in the area but the sulphur content is nearly unworkable. Drilling a hard rock well is now running $100.00 per foot plus. We have 4 low producing wells . 2@280' another at 310' and one at 500'. Do the math! The hole in the ground still needs casing, pump, wire and drop pipe. Water is expensive. The wells are on my private land that retains all water and mineral rights. I'm not about to pay the state a tax on the water.
