I use 165 ttsx in my .308 for years & they perform well on whitetail.Have been considering the TTSX and Accubond for my 6.5, as well. Have you calculated how far out you are maintaining enough velocity for them to open?
What are you using for your 300wsm? I’m new to reloading and would appreciate some input. I’m shooting a Tikka3.Currently loading 25-06 REM, 300 WSM and 38-55 WIN.
Staball 6.5 and 178 gr eldm. Just been using some brass I picked up at the gun show. Expensive. I have 40 once fired Noslers on the way. I will try some 165 gr bullets next. From everything I read, they shine with 150-180 bullets. The rifle I have is a custom. Savage or Steven action, 26' stainless barrel. Has a lot of freebore. Even though its a long action, the mag length limits bullet seating. Currently jumping around .130 I do not want to use it as a single shot. I may look into changing that. It is accurate the way it is but sometimes its just hard to leave things as they are. It has a cheap savage stock on it. No detachable mag. Even though its a Savage, it has no barrel nut. Better quality barrel lug though. What are you using for your 300wsm? I’m new to reloading and would appreciate some input. I’m shooting a Tikka3.

RL 16 gave me better sd and little tighter group average. H4350 was pretty good also.Which powder are you loading?
25 Creed is on my docket if I ever burn out the barrel in my 6.5. Also heard SAAMI finally approved it within the last couple of weeks.RL 16 gave me better sd and little tighter group average. H4350 was pretty good also.
I think the 25 is my favorite creed, I’m gonna sell all my 6 creed brass/bullets/barrel/dies and stick with 22 and 25.25 Creed is on my docket if I ever burn out the barrel in my 6.5. Also heard SAAMI finally approved it within the last couple of weeks.
Home brewed or purchased in the .357?
Those are from Montana bullet works, they make great hard casts. I’ve been meaning to get into casting myself, I just haven’t yet.Home brewed or purchased in the .357?
I load 158 XTP's. 180's sound fun.
