The rut is definitely getting into swing in the missoula area. There are a lot of new rubs/scrapes since I was out last weekend and there are now some bucks chasing does around. I saw the biggest forked horn whitetail I will probably ever see in my life tonight. One of the biggest bodied whitetails I have seen. He ran like a cow chasing does around. With any luck I might be able to post a picture tomorrow.

Watched a couple run in to fusions Saturday as well. Very good day for killing bucks.
Wasn't able to kill the big fork that I wanted to but a 5x5 gave me a look at 40 yards and i sent an arrow through him. It was a blast being out this weekend. I saw two different bucks that would have gone on the wall yesterday. One very good 4x4 and a great 5x5. The big 5x5 had bedded down about 200 yards from me and I had gotten comfortable expecting to wait them out the rest of the day when the younger 5x5 ran a group of does right past me grunting up a storm. The rut is something to behold..
