Montana mule deer rut activity

Covered a good amount of good country today, 4 does 4 fawns and 0 bucks.

Funny, I had Similar results, except saw a bull and cow moose also. Didn't even see a good buck track.

Friday me and my apprentice hunter went out again. We came up with a group of 5 mulies for the day. One was a small buck, but they were as jumpy as pronghorns. Not much sign at all. Rut is definitely on.
