Weekend Getaway

My wife and spent this past weekend at a cozy B&B on the Kenai Peninsula celebrating our 17th a bit early. I'll be at work on the actual day so we figured as long as we hit the same month thats close enough. Our host have a very nice, very comfortable little cabin jsut for "romantic" weekenders.

We had nice time together, the weather was beautiful, and she even let me go fishin'.

I fished a little on the Anchor River for steelies, and caught a decent Dolly Varden (Bull Trout) on the Upper Kenai while looking for a big Rainbow.

Romantic and fishing are two words my wife would not consider using together. You're a lucky dude. Reminds me, my 8 year anniversary is coming up...Hmmm.
