Psalm 136:1

O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.

Genesis 25:27-29

When the boys grew up, Esau became a skillful hunter, a man of the field, but Jacob was a peaceful man, living in tents. Now Isaac loved Esau, because he had a taste for game, but Rebekah loved Jacob.

Proverbs 2:20-21

So you will walk in the way of the good and keep to the paths of the righteous. For the upright will inhabit the land, and those with integrity will remain in it …

Is it not this season...?

Acts 10:11-13

He saw Heaven opened and something like a large sheet being let down to earth by its corners. It contained all kinds of four-footed animals, as well as reptiles and birds. Then a voice told him, "Get up Peter. Kill and Eat."

Best of luck to all who are out this Fall!!

I like these threads. Now that my kids are back to getting homework I will post my sons bible memory verse for Kindergarten. They have a new one each week. Eventually they do all of Psalm 31 and Psalm 100. It's so cute hearing a 5 year old rattle them off word for word in the KJV.

They had an easy one this week.

John 14:14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

My daughter also has a weekly memory verse(s). She is 7 and in the 2nd grade. They had an easy week too:

Genesis 1: 1-2
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
And the earth was without form, and void: and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

If it's not already apparent they attend Christian school, hence the bible homework.

John 11:25&26 - Jesus said unto her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies;and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?"
