weatherby vanguard B&C stock mag vs floor plate

Hello All,

I have a friend who is looking at the B&C for his Weatherby Vanguard with a detachable magazine. When he reached out to B&C about this they said their stocks only support the hinged floorplate. However it seems there is a hinged floorplate to mag conversion kit available. Has anyone used that kit with a B&C or other stock before? If so was it a drop in kind of thing or were there modifications required?

Does he want to keep the detachable magazine?
It's about even cost to swap from the detachable to the floor plate.
Or, just buy a floor plate and use that with the B&C stock. The floor plates are not difficult to find used on eBay in good condition.
