Kids love crabbing! Some don't like the part when they go into the boiling water alive but they get over it once they start eating.

Is that a Nehalem Bay Sturgeon? I never fish for them until late November but I need to catch my last one as come Jan 1 it's closed to retention.... forever most likely.

I think crabbing is the most fun my kids have ever had! The sturgeon was below Bonneville Dam. That area around Nehalem bay is very cool.

Yes it is and it is almost all public accessible land. Chinook fishing is off the charts right now! Best bites I think I have ever witnessed....
