The charterboat that I use out of Westport just had 2 spots open up for next Sunday, 5/14.

Yes.
Usually leave at 4 or 4:30 AM and get back when we get back.
Fathom depth limits for lings are off during halibut days so out of the ling cod we catch there are usually a few really good ones.

Nick operated The High Life since he began as a captain.
He bought a different boat last fall and will be running it this year, it is called Show Girl.
His Facebook page is High Life Charters if you want to look at some pictures.
Both boats are six packs.

Also, he has electric reels, which are incredible on these deep water trips.

I've fished with him on the High Life. A salmon/rockfish combo. First class captain, excellent filleter and really takes good care of the catch

I agree with everything you said.
He's the only boat I've fished on out there since 2019.
He consistenly gives it his best effort and doesn't just mail it in if it's tough fishing.
