Wanna be my secret Santa?

Wow. I never knew a shotgun could be so expensive. Maybe next year.

To me the 16 gauge is the paramount of upland bird gauges. I have a cheap-o 870 express in 16 that Scheels had clearance...the price so low I practically stole it.

In a fit of a bidding war, 2 years ago I acquired an unfortunately refinished Ithaca 1904 16gauge with 2-5/8" chambers. It hasn't shot anything yet as it is desperately needing the skilled hands of a craftsman gunsmith to get it timed better and refinished its former glory. It will never be worth what I have invested however I feel it will pay homage.

If there is little collector's value on it, you can get the chambers & forcing cones lengthened as well. Might be worth having the chokes checked as well.
