WA GMU 328 (Elk)

Anyone hunt elk in unit 328 in Washington state? I'm looking at a late archery elk hunt in that unit. Cow and spike only. I think all the pre-scouting I'll be able to get in is via google earth due to the location. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

I ran around i those hills regularly from 1984 - 2001 and still make it back every year in the spring for morels. Where are you starting out of?

We are looking at heading up Colman/Cooke Creek and finding a decent place to set up camp. Is there a better place to start? From the looks of things a lot of time would be spent glassing. I'm wondering how easy it would be to get around in late November/early December up in those hills.
