VX-3 Handgun 2.5-8x32 Duplex, going rate?

I am interested in finding out what the going rate is for a Leupold VX-3 Handgun 2.5-8x32 scope? I have seen them for over $900 a few places on the internet and was wondering if any handgun hunters/shooters had any input?

Well, since Leupold discontinued handgun scopes you are pretty much at the mercy of the used market prices. That is a bit high in my opinion.
I’d buy a new Burris 2-7 before I bought the used one you’re asking about.

I agree with buying the Burris 2x7 over the Leupold. Burris can repair or replace the 2x7 whereas Leupold has discontinued all handgun scopes. So, if needed any repairs may not be available from Leupold. I have the following handgun scopes, Leupold 2x, Burris 2x, Burris 7x and a Burris 3x9. The Burris scopes are good quality.

Burris is the only option anymore. I recently picked up their 2-7 for a contender barrel. It’s super clear.
