Was lucky enough to find one on my home farm here on the eastern shore of Virginia. Woke up late and didn’t get out until well after first light but he was fired up and didn’t break roost until 7am. He flew down and came in on a string. I put a load of hornady #5 on the mark and it was all done. What was special is for some reason I took my “old” New England partner pump with me, I’m lucky enough to own a lot of nice shotguns but this gun my Dad gave me my freshman year of college and it’s put a lot of meat on the table but it’s been sitting in the safe for awhile now. How you enjoy the pics! My one year old daughter wasn’t sure what to think of the gobbler

Congrats. Me and my son had a big one strutting at 80 yards but had hens with him. They haven’t been gobbling much at all this year. I think the late opening date this year is making things tough in my area. Congrats again. Great pics
