Video Cameras???

I am in the market for a new video camera and want to know what you guys use. I have used Sony 8mm cameras, and I currently have a Canon Z65.
I am going to upgrade to a larger camera but don't want to spend the $$$$ without being sure I make the right choice..
Give me your ideas..

I had the zr25 then bought the zr80 this year. All I know are the cannons.. but htey work good when you don't do much Videotaping in the rain/snow

Well, I just broke down and bought a Canon GL2. I have talked to some guys who use them and they all have a lot of good comments about them..
