I rode an ATV last year with the track system on it in 20" of snow and was amazed how it got around the woods and up hills. This could be a real useful idea for those who live in real deep snow areas who have to work and drive off road a lot. Stillkicking you need this just to go to the mailbox!

Thanks for the reminder Pat, snowing like crazy again! It's going to be one of those years for sure............

That's pretty neat..,probably cost more than what my truck is worth. :D

Tracks for an ATV are darn near half the price of a new ATV. But after riding that thing last winter I have to say they are worth it. I was marking trees for logging and then used it on the river for checking my long range shooting targets and it was never once in a spot that it felt like it was going to get stuck.

Over snow travel is allowed on a lot of public lands.
Yep, especially on those roads that don't get plowed. That's where I think they'd be sweet. Getting up/down roads that are snowed in. Depending on the price, it might be cheaper more efficient to go this route than a snowmobile.

Those are neat, I could have used them in Montana this year, I couldn't get within 12 miles of one of my favorite hunting spots because of all the snow.
but at almost $4000.00 for a set for my ATV I don't think that I will be getting a set soon.
