Here's the thing, recent statistical study showed Flock has not reduced crime whatsoever. Their claims are based upon crime rate that is ALREADY dropping under this Administration. They are using data that is generated by better police work without surveillance cameras. Hell, more concealed carry.

What if a day after you breakup with a girlfriend, you are innocently driving past her house on the way to grab a bagel at Einsteins while something horrible is happing inside of her home, a home full of your fingerprints and DNA. Flock camera gets a pic of your car on her street at the same time a crime is being committed against your ex, now instead of a misdemeanor for buying shitty bagels, you're facing a felony murder charge. Point being you can be completely innocent and have these images used against you, the thought that if you're doing nothing wrong, you have nothing to worry about doesn't hold water.

It's stretching the truth to say this is about one party or one person taking rights away. We saw during Covid that most politicians were perfectly willing to take our rights. Of course, now, even those whose brains didn't work during that time can read that those in charge were simply making things up for their benefits. It appears it was all about money in their pockets.

It seems flock is the same way. I bet if you follow the money, we'll find that someone in the cities/counties/stores that are putting them up have a kickback to them or someone they know. Of course, Flock isn't worried about our rights ... they just want a paycheck. It's not bad that they want a paycheck, but our govts should make this a bit harder.

There are perceived rights and there are Constitutionally derived rights. When carping about rights being infringed upon, it is incumbent on the me or whoever to explain those rights.
If Constitutional rights are the concern, it is responsible to cite the language and how it has been interpreted by authority.
Unfortunately there is too much complaining about rights being "taken away", when those rights are merely the personally opinionated complaints about some perceived inconvenience or oversight of actions in the public arena.
