Utah 2019 Application booklet is up

'Tis the season. Utah application period is January 31 to March 7, 2019. Results are usually out in mid-May.

I'm sitting on max non-resident pronghorn points, but the season dates this year are further into the peak elk rut than I would like to miss. Add to that the fact I will be heading to BC the day after the pronghorn season ends, and it seems I am destined for another point this year. Good news is that if the tag numbers and application patterns stay the same as last year, someone with one less than max points will draw a pronghorn tag.

Great to see additional bison opportunities and archery-only bighorn. As always, I'll swinging for the fences and highly considering dedicated hunter.

I will be swinging for the fences in UT this year. You never know, unlike Greenhorn I have been VERY blessed in the draws the last few years. Maybe lighting will strike again?
