Unknown Suppressors OG Experience

Have a og coming for a 7mm and a rugged Alaskan 338 coming for a 300 wsm. Want to order a ab raptor 375 for a 9.3x62 but no hurry because I’m waiting on barrel and stock. Reducing rifle collection to mostly left hand guns and upgrading the ones I’m keeping.

Bought an OG Prototype for 400 bucks. First and only suppressor so far.

Had a 6.5 PRC Tikka cut to 22 inches and threaded.

And also had a 6.5 CM Tikka cut to 17 inches and threaded.

So far, this thing is worth every penny. It’s a little ugly, as it wasn’t made to be sold to consumers, but if it had a brand new fit and finish, I would be fine having paid 1000 dollars for it.

Both guns are shooting Sub MOA, 6.5 CM went 8 shots in under an inch. 6.5 PRC went 5 shots in under an inch. I’ll be hunting everything I can in Alaska with these two rifles.

Next suppressor I get will likely be an OG 6.5. Lighter and quieter, what’s not to like!

You guys that own them, anymore thoughts on the OG’s?

I’m really leaning Reaper right now, a local shop has them in stock. The Airlock is just too complicated for me to get my hands on and who knows if they would even be here by hunting season.

Can’t help but think I might be missing out not getting an OTB though.

If you're thinking about an OG I would wait another month or two as they're supposed to release a gen 2 version of the .30 cal

Form factor is tough to beat, they aren’t a max suppression can but they do fine. Not much else to say.. I wouldn’t get a 30 cal OG but if the 6.5 works, it’s a good option.

They just received Dead Air OTB’s at the Missoula Scheel’s. I have one on hold even though I’m from Washington… anyone need it? My brother might.

Go with the Dead Air…. I have the same silencer on the ph3 in a 7mm prc and it has great sound and recoil management. Rifle shoots incredible with the combo!!!!

Dead air OTB is twice the weight.

Regular nomad XC is a great can, but it's not 4" in front of barrel, 1.5" dia, and 7.5 ounces.

OG version 2 is being released June 1. The Reaper is supposedly getting an OTB version in August which should be a nice addition for 30cals.

I have the OG6-S and it really shines on my small to medium 22cal-6mm cartridges. I have shot it with my 6mmPRC and it does pretty good but probably not as efficient as the bigger OG suppressors for magnums.

Tenet Suppressors is releasing a first run of their suppressors on Friday. They supposedly performed well in an Outdoor Life test. https://www.outdoorlife.com/gear/suppressor-recoil-test/

Any clue on what the differences will be? I’m looking hard at a 6.5 OG
Unfortunately it was in one of their Instagram reels and I don't remember. I want to say lighter but will remain 30cal 8" with 4 in front and 4 behind. They may be upping the barrel diameter clearances but I'm likely misremembering that part

I believe they learned some things to lighten it up and improve sound performance which were incorporated in the OG 6.5. The OG Gen 2 I expect is incorporating some of that into the 30 cal version. If you're in the market for a 6.5 can I'd just get the OG 6.5, I also think they'd be happy to make a recommendation if you gave them a call.
