Unit 16A NM Elk Hunt

First year bow hunter was lucky enough to draw an Elk hunt in the Gila and could really use some knowledge of the area from someone who has hunted this area. Any info. would be greatly appreciated.

Randy, here is what I saw this weekend while I went scouting a couple of 6X6 Bulls and a nice little buck. Sorry they are a little blurry, these digital cameras suck sometimes when you try to zoom in too much. I thought I had seen your truck on my way back from scouting on Saturday but didn't stop since you had been here already on a Pronghorn rifle hunt. Good Luck, I will be out there scouting on Saturday afternoon and Sunday this week.
